WHAT CHARACTERIZES OUR ARTICLING OFFER

Les PMEs, on connaît

MENTORING AND COLLABORATION

At Bernard & Brassard, we are committed to the professional and personal development of all our employees. We offer a healthy, welcoming and stimulating work environment.

Students can count on the close collaboration of professionals and the support of administrative staff throughout their articling.

Our goal is to develop the articling student’s interest and rigor, while helping him or her
evolve within a close-knit team that he or she will want to join at the end of their internship.

ROTATION AND FLEXIBILITY

The articling student will have the opportunity to work in all areas of law served by our firm, the proportion of which may vary according to the interest of the articling student and the needs of our various departments:

  • Commercial law
  • Civil and commercial litigation
  • Employment law
  • Family law

Although the internship is mainly onsite in order to maximize your training and learning
and give you the best practical experience, we offer the possibility of working remotely at
least one day a week.

IN ACTION

The articling student will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Participating in all stages of a project
  • Meeting with clients
  • Drafting various legal documents
  • Participating in meetings with various parties involved in commercial transactions
  • Assisting in the due diligence process for commercial transactions
  • Making representations before the courts
  • Attending trials, hearings, settlement conferences and interrogations

This, in a friendly and committed environment.

Notre réputation nous précède

Unique

We choose our candidates rather than having a large number of them.

Articling students have the advantage of dedicated supervision and personalized training
to match their ambitions.

Their experience will be all the more immersive as they will have the opportunity to make
an immediate impact in the mandates they are rapidly given, and to make a difference.
